In addition to the safety and family law issues faced by all victims of domestic violence, immigrant victims often face additional barriers that prevent them from seeking or securing the resources and services needed to help them break the cycle of violence. This session will discuss these barriers to services and also discuss other issues that may arise when representing a battered immigrant.
